Incredibly well preserved trenches. They have been restored to appear how they would have looked during the war. Be sure to get tickets for your entry at a local village prior to coming as it’s a fenced area and you need to pay for entry.

Fantastic network of preserved German trenches. Supposedly Hitler served in this area which adds an element of intrigue. Such sites are a rarity and this is well worth a visit.
Very cool recreation of WW1 trenches near the Somme. Hard to find though and not much parking. No toilets warning.
Bayernwald was truly a great experience. Really got a detailed look at trench warfare during WW1. A must see for a any person who loves history.
German trench position restored with mining tunnels in place. The site is unmanned and there is an automatic ticket gate that requires tickets to be bought in advance at the nearby tourist centre (10 mins drive away). Associated graveyard nearby shows the impact of taking the position by allied soldiers.
A bit small but still good enough to get a feel of what those soldiers must have lived during those years of battle.
Nice place, there is a lot to think about when visiting. The only issue is that you can't purchase tickets at the place. There is a list of shops you can buy it online.
Amazing place... full of history and very emotional
