Wonderful castle, well organized, loved the attention for engaging all children in a treasure hunt, providing them with medievall clothing, like princess dresses and knight capes and costumes, for a medieval experience. Definitely a must go!

This is absolutely one of the most beautiful castles of Belgium! It seems like a fairy tale castle with its big towers! It is just impressive. It was closed the day we went there, but we will come back and make an update of this post. Unfortunately, you have to pay even if you do not visit the inside of the castle. Update - We could visit it (the price is 7 for students), it is simply incredible! The inside still looks like a real old castle, which makes it magical. I just higly recommend it! And for your information, the Walzin's castle is a a5min ride from there and it is absolutely worth the while!

A family friendly, fairy tale castle with beautiful historic rooms. Children can dress up as knights and princesses and go on a quest. This castle was occupied since the 7th century and was later owned by the Beaufort family in the 13th century. The castle is shaped as an irregular pentagon with an inner courtyard and the various rooms are dressed by various family members. It gives a personal view of their taste in art, furniture and interest. The rooms show photo's of contact with other royal houses like the Dutch prince Bernhardt and the Japanese Royal family and their influence during the ages. Definitely worth a visit!

Beautiful castle and fun to visit, however not as big or impressive as others I’ve seen. The price you pay for the tour is, however, in line with that, and very decent. Exploring the area and the tour don’t take longer than about two hours total so this is a perfect activity to do when you’re in the neighborhood and want to do some exploring.

Nice castle, not very big. Otherwise it would've been a four star

It is a beautiful castle located in a picturesque destination. We already been there twice. Best time to visit is during summer and I guess if you love to visit during off season than have to book prior apointment to go inside. However, if you are interested to see from outside any period of the year is perfect with most romantic place to visit and take pictures.
