Was amazing to see the place where they would of played football at Christmas in ww1 and the trenches that were there

We took a ball and had a kick about, it felt wrong but some how right strange. well worth a visit, take your club scarf to place on the memorial there are club scarfs from around the world.

The actual site of the gathering is on the other side of the road in the turnip field.

This is a short walk away from the 'other and not original' Christmas Truce Memorial. It is worth the stroll down the road.
