We made the stop at night due to timing but getting the chance to show the kids where things had happened from the stories or movies they had seen was priceless. It should also be noted that there is another memorial down the road in Wereth for another American unit that was massacres but was not reported as such possibly because it was an African-American unit.

Very moving memorial on the outskirts of Malmedy at the crossroads. Memorial is generally well kept, but could be improved, especially by the inclusion of what happened and the aftermath. However, still worth a visit to remember the victims and commemorate their sacrifice.

Very nicely done memorial that is on the actual spot of the Malmedy Massacre. It's right along side of a traffic circle, so there won't be much time for quiet contemplation, but it is a great memorial
