Good for kids
This hilly area of the Citadel of Liege is hard work to get to, but you'll be rewarded with excellent views of the city below. The views from the top of Montagne de Bueren are excellent, but if you go further along to Belvédère Liège, the views are even clearer and better. There isn't much to see of the citadel and it's mostly ruins. You can still walk around and see a lot of what remains as much of it is still standing. The area has paved walking paths and is a pleasant area for a stroll.

Calm, clean and you can see Liège from above.. in summer, I trust it will more beautiful..
Wen you do a tour up there you'll not miss the stairs.
If you have time just walk until to the viewing point you will not regret it
There are 4 way marked walking routes which are categorized and 3 star in Michelin guide! Our walk started at Degrés des dentellières (the street of Lacemakers who lived just beside the townhall, and of such importance was their art). A rather unsuspecting entrance on Rue Pierreuse leads to some stairs which lead to a brick building in ruins. Yes, that was a part of the citadel. A few more stairs from here leads to the Terraces!
Incontournable à Liège. Highly recommended to visitors, photographers and locals who want a contrasting area, so near from the city but giving a really different feeling.
