Visited it during the winter and flew above it numerous times as part as my pilot formation. All I can say : It's beautiful and majestic from land and from the sky. It's a nice place to chill, have a picnic and take a ride on a jetski, a bit of adrenaline boost during the summer! While during the cold season , it's a good getaway for anyone to have a walk in the forest and feel the crisp air! Either way , even during the pandemic this place remains a good way to forget the mundane life and get a touch of nature!

Enchanted by the stunning scenery of pristine lakes and green rolling hills surrounding the river banks, a friend and I we're in good spirits to hike the challenging bicycle route around the lake. The first part towards the endpoint was a fairly straight walk which we completed hands down. The way back, we decided to encircle the lake and return via the other side of the lake. This side of the lake is typified with winding country roads cutting through the astonishing crude and gritty forest alike riverbank. Little did we know that this road is at least 3 times longer than the road up. Luckily, my friend's dog Taira relentlessly kept walking, dragging us towards the car. But before driving back home, we decided to have some munchies and a couple of beverages on a roof patio overlooking the tantalizing yacht bay. Immersed in thoughts and relishing the spectacular sunset, the towards at end agonizing 3 and a half hours brisk walk conjured up a mystical but satisfying smile on my face.

Lots to do here. It was quiet in October which reflected the COVID-19 pandemic and the autumnal weather. However all said there was a good feel to the place with plenty of people visiting to walk, cycle or fish.

Nice place for having a walk, biking or a swim. In weekend hot days is rather full, but there are many calm places outside of the main tourist streams... easy to access and explore with a bike. A very nice area to be explored!

One of the best place in wallonie to do water activities, explore the surroundings with childrens or family. Unfortunately...everything was close due to covid. My fiancre and I could not do nothing.

Beautiful nature and lakes. Nice restaurants in the neighbourhood. A lot of water sports which you can practice.
