Very good sandwich with good organic bread and plenty of choices of home cooked fillings.you can choose the size, and the small one is plenty! Sandwich poulet pané (avec du vrai blanc de poulet, pas industriel) aubergines et parmesan for less then 4. Plenty of choice for vegetarians and ok for vegans . You can also eat there and have a proper lunch for 10 or so

Delightful lunch just a few minutes from the train station. It is much better than everything you will find in the station. Don't come too late, because it's all freshly made and it's often sold out around 14:00. You can get a plate (or in bowl for take-out) of pasta, vegetables and meat or fish. Or take a sandwich, I recommend the one with chicken eggplant.

if you are tired of expensive cafes inside transit stations, just take a short walk outside Bruxelles Midi station and enjoy a local cosmopolite atmosphere in this place. The place is clean, the personnel very friendly, the food is tasty and for affordable prices. Enjoy.
