Lovely little sandwich place with belgian specialities and coffee. Can get quite busy as there aren't many cheap spots like this for a quick bite.

Good food. I think the staff were the owners so they were a bit abrupt and no smiles on their faces. They also got my order wrong.

We visit Brugge often and always make a beeline for this establishment. Sadly, never again! We encountered unacceptable rudeness throughout our visit from a waitress we have not met previously. The owner is charming and products delicious, but this visit was a disaster. We took the only free table and, as I stacked the previous customers crockery, I was rudely accosted by the waitress who asked " do you work here?" as she barged forward. I apologised, but received only a scowl. Then we placed our order (cherry tart) which we always have there. When it arrived, it wasn't what we were expecting so I explained and showed the one in the window. The waitress was very cross and said I should read the signs (they have changed the original cherry tart to apricot and cherry). Eventually the correct one was slammed in front of us. Upon exciting, I discovered the one she brought was labelled "tart of the day" - none were called cherry tart! She should have queried our order. Perhaps she doesn't like English people? That said, my husband speaks Flemish. We had our delightful 9 year old granddaughter with us, which made the whole experience even more upsetting. I hardly tasted the delicious tart. I still feel shaken by the whole event which cost 25 euros for three drinks and three cakes. For the first time ever, I did not leave a tip! It is so very sad that this excellent establishment has employed such a person. She is obviously not a very happy person but, front of house, she is a disaster!

Food was good and the girl behind the counter was nice and pleasant. Man behind bar was rude and commercially stupid. No sense for customer service or engaging positively with a customer.... the person who patronizes the establishment that pays his salary.
