One year later, production in series began and the model was renamed the 911. The 911 had an integral body-frame and was powered by a new 2-litre flat-six engine, which initially delivered 130 hp. Originally the 911 was built only as a Coupé. As of model year 1967, the 911 was also available as a Targa with permanently mounted roll-over bar and removable soft top. In 1969, the wheelbase was lengthened by 57 mm, which increased the driving comfort and gave the vehicle more stable driving dynamics. The 911 S, the first engine derivative of the 911, was also launched on the market. In the years that followed, models bearing the additional designations T, L and E were introduced. 911 Porsche 356 In 1948 the first Porsche road-certified 356 was produced in Austria. The Gmünd Roadster was cooled by an air-cooled engine of which the power was increased to 35hp and reached a maximum speed of 135km/h (86m/h). Porsche 356 was built in series until 1965. The very last vehicles were produced in 1966 for the traffic police of Amsterdam. All generations of the Porsche 356 were also available in an open-top version (cabriolet, speedster or roadster). 356 PORSCHE 356 COLLECTION Porsche 356 C Cabrio 1965 Irish Green Porsche 356 C Cabrio 1965 Irish Green Porsche 356 A Speedster Porsche 356 A Speedster View all PORSCHE 911 COLLECTION Porsche 911 S November 1966 Porsche 911 S November 1966 Porsche 911 Softwindow ’68 Bahama Yellow Porsche 911 Softwindow ’68 Bahama Yellow View all Awards, Rallies & Events STACE is participating in many worldwide events & rallies.
