Nice to see another side of the war. Beautiful house and place. The new expo with different personal items is really interesting.

Great private museum that shows how the British soldiers (of all rank) tried to relax when away from the front lines during the great war. I advise building this into your visits of the known musea and cemeteries and dugouts/trenches to mix things up!

Amazing well done Tubby you have done us proud. The new part is brilliant to and staff are so welcoming and friendly. Even got offered tea or coffee just as Tubby would of asked the soldiers

Really liked the museum tour. Easy to follow with the tablet and quite impressive once you realise how many soldiers have gone before you. Also stayed the night which was extra special. After the museum closes it gets nice and quiet and you can enjoy a cup of tea in the most authentic setting The english breakfast was worth 5*!

Unexepected gem in the heart of Poperinge. Well elaborated exhibition and a surprising view on daily soldiers life behind the lines. Beautiful garden.

We arrived soaking wet and were warmly welcomed by the wardens. The spirit of the house lives on until today!

Such a special place - amazingly well preserved and sensitively presented. Full of touching stories that bring the soldiers and characters to life and an insight into a part of first world war life that's so often overlooked.

Well maintained historical site from WWI. The site is very much like it was 100 years ago. You can walk right up into the attic where the chapel was.
