Beautiful museum with a nice selection of art items through the ages and a nice and elegant presentation. Also it is not too big so that you are not overloaded!

Staff were friendly! But the art wasn’t to my taste! Some of the older more classical parts where okay but the more modern installations weren’t very good! The best part was the draw your own kids section!

Amazing place! Completely recommended. You can find a lot of different art pieces by important artist specially from Belgium and The Netherlands.

Great collection of Dutch and Flemish paintings in chronological order. Great explanation of each era and the evolution of painting techniques and themes.

Very nice museum where paintings of great Flemish artists are exhibited. Apart from the works of the renaissance era, when flemish art was at its bests, you can also see works by artists from other periods. Some of them are really interesting. The entry to the museum is free with the Ghent city card.

The Jan Van Eyck exhibition with guided tour was so stunning. The organisational staff guides and helps visitors flawlessly. With a guide you get that extra information which adds to the great artwork itself. Definitely worth visiting!
