Top-notch service. Lovely location and setting. A bit underwhelming in terms of food (almost everything very good, the lamb was excellent, but nothing mind-blowing), given the 2 Michelin stars and the price. Ditto for the wine: the pairing was mostly well done, but always with bottles between 20 and 30 euros, and not generous portions.

One of the very best restaurants in Brussels. I had been there a few years ago, but I was even more impressed this time (although prices went up). Excellent service and food.
Delicious food, beautiful terrace, friendly staff... Highly recommended!
Great food, great ambience, friendly staff.. We were 9 people and they gave us a separate dinning room where we had our privacy and really enjoyed the night.
great dining experience. special menu for people under 30y old is fantastic !
Great setting, good food, complicated menu
Very good! Friendly staff, great service and amazing food!
I am giving the restaurant only three stars as it is one of the biggest disappointments to me lately. The place offers decent food but just that. It is not enough for a two-star restaurant to serve just decent food... There was nothing that I couldn't have cooked at home. Where's creativity and innovation? Where's that je ne sais quoi for which one goes to a reputed place like this and pays a lot of money?.. I have been to other two-star restaurants in Belgium where I really want to go back. Le Chalet de la Forêt is not one of them, unfortunately. We went there immediately after the lockdown was lifted, so after a looooong break AND on my birthday; all that subjectively added to the disappointment as well. I believe that the restaurant could do better to show that they actually deserve the two stars
