Delicious food prepared in an amazingly small open kitchen. Views over Brussels are quite spectacular. Only minor point, however, was that the 8 course set menu we took was only orally ‘available’ and presented in rapid French which can be quite daunting for non native speakers.

Food was very good, however the main feeling was a bit rushed. We had one big dominating disappointment: the Sommelier refused to speak anything but French, while he clearly knew we hardly understood any French. Taking quite expensive accompanying wines, we had no clue what wine we were drinking (apart from the color lol), he was just having his say, rattling off in French without anyone understanding a thing. He didn't seem to care. Even didn't saying anything at all for some wine, just pouring the glass. We tried asking for details in English or Dutch, but nope. For that much money for accompanying wines, you'd expect to know what you're drinking. Other waiters did do an effort to speak either Dutch or English, so it's kinda sad that this simple thing has such an effect on your evening, in an otherwise very impressive setting for sunset.

Wonderful cuisine ! The open kitchen is a delight to see the chef working in front of you. Of course the view over Brussels is magnificent. The desserts were a bit lacking with respect to the other courses therefore the 4 stars and not 5.

A two Michelin-starred restaurant, La Villa in the Sky is situated at the top of a tall building, literally placing it in the sky. After going up a dark flight of stairs, you find yourself in a glass box with an open kitchen with chef Alexandre Dionisio busily preparing the meals to come. The staff wear an all black attire with sneakers! I loved that; I was in sneakers myself due to my next stop being the airport and so I felt right at home. Actually, the whole ambiance is comfortable with nothing being too pretentious. The food was delicate in presentation as it was in texture. The melange of crispy items with the rest of the plate ingredients, such as the brittle cheese on the chicken or the paper-thin white chocolate pieces, was lovely. Also, the usage of mushroom dust was fascinating to me and I am not a fan of those capped fungi to begin with. Something worth mentioning is my appreciation of the subtle gesture of placing a cover on the dish to keep it warm when the person had to leave the table to go to the restroom. The set menu as a whole was satisfying and had a more or less balanced amount of savory and sweet; of what I would call salted caramel.

Used to be a 2 stars Michelin restaurant. Sandly I learned now is only one. Nevertheless, the tasty and explotion of flavors mixed with the 360 view above Brussels worth the star. Personal super friendly and attentive to each request. Excellent variety of wines. Honestly one of my favorite ones in Brux.

Absolutely amazing restaurant! In my opinion it is the best restaurants in Brussels, superior to the other 2 Michelin stars, which I have all tried at least once. I wouldn't be surprised if La Villa in the sky got a third star soon. A few things to know: - There are only a few tables so reservations are essential. - It's not easy to park in the neighborhood, but there is a valet service to park your car in the secured car park inside the building. - The restaurant is located on the 27th floor of the IT Tower, but the lift only goes up to the 23rd floor. The last floors must be climbed on foot.

Really fantastic location, incredible view over Brussels including the night view. Awesome top culinary food and excellent, competent, superpro, friendly service staff but without the usual conformism you often encounter at star rated restaurants ... there is room for a friendly chat and a small joke. Highly recommendable. A place to go back to.

Beautiful view from the highest floor of the IT Tower, with a lovely terrace to go out and see the city. The food is amazing, very interesting and tasty dishes. The service was great too. If you have the time and money, it's very recommended!
