Unfortunately my vehicle broke down in Belgium while visiting from the UK. The service team would not even look at my car for me despite trying to give them several options. Consequently they left me stranded in Europe having to negotiate my way to an alternate Porsche center with the recovery company. Luckily Porsche center Maastricht were absolutely fabulous and helped resolve the situation.

On a trip from the UK to the Spa 24hr race this year, we encountered a large amount of concrete on the motorway which gave us, what we thought at the time, was just a flat tyre. Porsche Assist were troublesome and we ended up having to leave the car outside the dealership whilst it was closed, and come back the next morning. When we arrived at 10am on a Saturday we learned the service centre was closed, but Thierry and Pascal went above and beyond to try and get us new tyres. We unfortunately found out that the wheel had been sliced open through the tyre, needing a new wheel. The focus then shifted onto getting us a courtesy car to get us mobile, as we still hadn't reached our arranged accommodation. Porsche Assist UK, France and Belgium were all involved but only the Belgium Porsche Assist were of any help, both the UK and France not having a clue what was happening and not communicating with each other despite promises to. An hour after it was meant to arrive, we got our courtesy car to get us moving before we would return on Monday to try and source a new wheel. As Thierry had warned us, we could not source a wheel until Thursday at the earliest, but had to be back later in the day. We ended up paying to have the wheel taken off a car in the showroom and put onto our car, all done very quickly and efficiently by the dealership. Without the help of Porsche Centre Liege, we would not have been able to return back to the UK in time or get any courtesy car from Porsche Assist, who were unhelpful until pushed by the dealership every hour.
