Komkommertijd is a vegan all you-can-eat buffet in the center of Ghent. You can eat inside, or there is a small outdoor courtyard. I usually eat and have a drink for less than 20: soup, warm food, salad bar, dessert. Students have an euro discount. You can also take away. Komkommertijd is one of my favourite restaurants in Ghent. The people working are sympathetic, the food is really good and diverse. Good place to have a cheap and tasty lunch when you are hungry.

vegan lunch buffet! so yummy! there's always plenty and it was super hot. I don't like lukewarm food so that's definitely a plus! good choices of food!
amazing place!!! all the dishes are 100% vegan, the waiter was very kind, and the atmosphere is nice and relaxing. i had spaghetti carbonara and coconut crème brûlée and they were just so delicious!

A vegan all you can eat buffet is not common, so it was nice to experience this. The food was good, but not special. Do not expect a buffet with many different kinds of food, but there was enough to choose from and the available choices shuffled with each time I went to the buffet. The price is fair for the food that was served. I would have liked a bit more cosy ambiance and more dessert chooses.
The food was delicious, service friendly and efficient. The buffet was continuously replenished. The chocolate cake dessert was moist and bursting with flavour. And all vegan! Didn't miss eggs, cheese or meat. Recommended!
