Mumtaz is a good place for Indian food, both if you want the classics or if you want something a little different. They don't take credit card and they aren't super fast, but the food is good and the prices reasonable. The vegetarian selection was nice and I recommend the paneer with peas. Choose the Nepalese chicken if you want something completely different from what you are used to.

Paneer tikka masala was toooooooo sweet and I don't know why it is toooo red. Naan was not even naan. It tasted like kulcha. It is was a bad experience.I could have cooked better then them.

Going by the positive reviews, we went with high expectation and ordered their dish paneer tikka masala. The curry was super sweet, super red. And not much of an Indian taste. The Garlic naan was also like store bought. Nothing special. Highly disappointed. Will not recommend to friends.

We went to this restaurant two weeks ago and it was lovely. Food great and fantastic service from the very good English speaking owner. Yesterday we booked a table for lunch by phone and when we arrived there was no one in the restaurant, only sounds coming from the kitchen. Ten minutes later someone arrived. Not the same person as before and without wearing a mask came and slapped two menu's on the table that we politely had asked for. He then asked why we did not pre-order our food online? New to us. Then, while we were looking at the menu he got out a vacuum cleaner and started to clean around us! Didn't look dirty to me. We got up and told him in French we were walking out and his only word was 'why' which he said with a weird smile. We didn't reply and will not be going back. Real shame as the food was good but we can't be treated like this again!

Chicken Tikka Masala is extremely sweet. I'm guessing half of the dish is sugar! Probably the worst I've eaten. Rice is extremely expensive and pretty bland. won't be coming back...

We trusted the high ratings and the pictures seemed to match. BIG MISTAKE! The restaurant is actually Indian-Pakistani, not Indian and the taste of the food shows that. We ordered Paneer and all of us thought that it was store bought (the whole thing, gravy too) and so did the Naan. Uploaded are photos of the path to the bathroom to wash your hands. Only the eating area is lush, nowhere else. Not recommended.

Went there just a few days ago. Had a great time. The waiters are all multilingual and the food was delicious Wasn't too expensive either. Highly recommend.
