I bought two Hay chairs from Design Oostende as they were available immediately and nicely priced there. One of the chairs came with some damage caused by the transportation to my home and in a Kafkaesque series of events, all next versions of the same chair went through the same ordeal. I went back to Design Oostende multiple times to ask to fix the situation and in all cases they did in a very courteous, professional and friendly manner. I am truly impressed by their dedication and patience. All in all, I'm happy with the result, even if it took a while to get there. Recommended for choice, availability and professional dedication of its staff.

Shopping with Design Oostende has been the worst retail experience I've ever had. I had been shopping for a place with 4 DSW Eames chairs in stock, and Design Oostende assured me they did (other stores had a 4-6 week wait). I called them the day of my purchase (August 1st) to confirm that everything was in order. They confirmed. When I arrived in Oostende, they admitted they only had 3 chairs in stock (even though they said otherwise on the phone), but still required full payment. They promised the 4th chair would be delivered in a month. 3 months later and they still haven't delivered the chair. They ignore my emails, occasionally making promises to deliver on a certain date, then failing to do so. To make matters worse, the 3 chairs I bought aren't even the same height (on is an older model, 2cm taller than the others). Design Oostende has been continually disrespectful in their communications, refused my offer to bring the (3) chairs back for a refund, and still have not followed through on their agreement. At this point I am starting to wonder if I am being scammed. Do not shop at Design Oostende. These guys run a terrible business with awful customer service, and if I never receive the fourth chair, I'll consider them full blown scammers. Avoid at all costs.

Deze zaak combineert modern design en hedendaagse kunst op een prachtige manier. Wat mij betreft één van de mooiste zaken in België waar ik binnen ben geweest. Voor een uniek interieur ben je hier op de juiste plaats. Let ook goed op joe de winkel is ingericht. Uniek!
