This is one of 2 Vehicle Licensing offices in Brussels. Note there are 2 offices and two different entrances:- One for driving tests and one of Vehicle (MOT) Inspections. This is a review of the Inspection site, where you can just turn up, but queue for 1 hr or arrive by appointment and jump the queues. You can sometimes get appointments on the morning for the afternoon so try this. Arrive 5 mins before appointment. Expect the test to take 20-30 mins as you go through 5 tests stations with the car. After test you park outside, pay and get your conformity certificate at a little office (see photos). The friendly but busy mechanics speak french and some flemish with limited english.

If I could give a 0 i would. Very disrespectful staff. The translator speaks poor English and doesn't want to repeat questions. I pay 50 euro for a translator that doesn't do a correct job and it is a translator for the group not for only 1 person. you lose 1h30min for nothing. (waste of time and money). They should at least have English version of this test, then you can read the question over again. If you want to go to the toilet you need to give your ID for the key, while it should be open for the public that comes there. Dirty (bad smell)and old fashioned equipment. I don't recommend anyone to go there for the exam.

Waste of money as the English translation was poor..lady translator was so confused while translating the questions. Its waste of time, money and energy. I asked them if they can change the translator next time and they refused to do it.

One of the young lady in the counter where accepts the registration for the exam was not nice, no even a thank you or good bye, only focuses on talking with her colleagues. If she need talking, she should sit in a coffee house instead! The translator was quite okay, her voice was clear but translation was not. “Rue” in french was translated to “lane” in English instead of “street/road” and this can cause confusion. Some questions’ answers were translated not in the full meaning. I know only some basic French (A2) but I can know that they were not in full meaning. Why does not create the translation within the questions and answers? Is it cost more than asking for a translator? Even you have to pay 50 bucks to the translator!

I was taking the test in this examination center with the EN translator. By any means I do not suggest you to pass your test here. The translation was very poor, the person was reading the questions and translating them on the spot making errors and confusing others. When someone asked to repeat the question, which is allowed by the rules, the instructor got unacceptably aggressive and was shouting in French. Very disrespectful. Despite the fact I eventually passed my test, I had a very bitter feeling leaving this place.
