Suites and extended stay rooms are equipped with: pots and pans, toaster, plates/cups/bowls, utensils, steak knives (though no kitchen knives), cutting board, cooking utensils, can opener, mixing bowls, and colander. Both have microwaves and two-burner stoves. Suites have a dishwasher; both provide dish soap and drying racks. Suites have a large fridge and extended stay rooms have a mini-fridge, both with freezer. Suites are good-sized with a four-seat table, coffee table, desk, and pull-out couch. Extended stay rooms have very tight kitchens, but have both a closet and wardrobe, easy chair, and desk. Both types have ironing boards. The breakfast is minimal but nice: hard boiled eggs, juice, coffee, yogurt, milk, either oatmeal packets and muffins or bagels, cold cereal, and two of apples/oranges/bananas. Each floor has a laundry room with two washers & dryers and a vending machine. The business center has three computers and a printer. Outside there's a picnic area with a playground. Note that local calls cost .05/min from the room phones. The front desk has been easy to work with and the houskeepers are very sweet and helpful.

Hotel is great. I wish they could have activities for the children, like movie day.

Staff was very accommodating and the rooms were adequate enough for my family's needs.

Good, modern, clean rooms. Chievres is out in the middle of nowhere, so be prepared to rent a car if you have to go to Shape or even Daumerie. In the winter the Army Lodge gets absolutely pounded by wind and rain, there is no shelter by way of trees or other building. There is a nice play structure for kids in the back, but again zero shelter from the elements, so even when it's dry in winter, the wind is so brutal your kids won't want to use that playground. Walking distance to commissary, PX, gym, library. Insufficient parking. Insufficient pet rooms!

The front desk check in service rep was great. The room was comfortable. I truly enjoyed my short overnight stay.

Always a great place to stop to pick up meals when you don't want to cook. Amazing selection, food for everyone.

The best staff I've ever dealt with. Very friendly, always helpful 24/7, they're flexible once you are staying in. Rooms are hard to get since there are so many people traveling in and out of the area. Schedule your stay weeks ahead and you'll have a great stay!
