Just what we needed after two days of sightseeing. It is so relaxing in this cafe. I ordered a Gyokuro tea which is one of the best teas I have tasted, such lovely flavours. My friends were very happy with their choices too. Very friendly and welcoming service here. I will visit again next time I am in Antwerp.

The Tea Collection was founded in 1995 and is a specialized teashop that is selling over 130 kinds of loose teas and infusions for over 20 years. Customers can smell and discover our teas in large tin boxes before they are freshly filled into 3-layered storage bags (100/250/500gr). These bags keep the teas fresh and tenable for a long period of time (2 years). As we are filling the storage bags with fresh tea in front of our customers, we are fully aware (as well as our customers) whenever something is wrong or suspicious within our products. In our 20 years of history, we never came across a situation that matches your description. We would like to inform you that all kinds of teas and infusions are to be kept in a dry and cool storage place. PEST ALERT!!!! Second time I found a pest of flour mites in the tea packages!! I am not the only one who has had this experience with this shop and their tea! As you can find on the internet flour mites survive in dried fruits, and all sorts of food that you keep in your cupboards in the kitchen. I bought a bag of fresh camomile tea, after a few days i kept finding little bugs on my counter. I went scouting for the source and found the source to be within the camomile tea bag!! Worst experience ever!! I hope this message is received to the owner of this place, because this is not healthy, nor good clients!
