One of the most beautiful gardens in Belgium! A must visit place

A lovely garden with a natural spring that feeds numerous fountains without any pumps due to the hight differences in the garden. If you are a gardener then you might notice the different styles of the garden. There is an English section that is charming, an Italian-styled section and a French influenced garden. Most of the gardens use shrubs and trees, so there is a lack of colours or flowers, but the water features are impressive. What drew us the most was the kitchen garden that contained an assortiment of vegetables like courgettes, kale, beets, artichokes and more. This part of the garden drew a range of butterflies and insects which was just lovely to see. During the Coronavirus, it is open to the public, reservations required, and a specific route needs to be followed whilst exploring the gardens. Be mindful of it.

Magnificent garden! It’s big enough, meanwhile our 3 years old enjoyed the walk as well. We went on a Monday, very peaceful.

Superb gardens and immaculately maintained. Virtually had the place to ourselves in the autumn sunshine today. Look forward to returning next year.

These might be the most beautiful gardens of Belgium! The castle and its beautiful gardens are a little bit tucked away on top of a green hill in the small town of Annevoie. The castle, as well as most of the fountains are still in original condition, this makes it a true wonder to look at. No mechanics were used for the fountains, only natural pressure, based on the principals of the communicating vessels. Certainly worth the visit!

My mother's favorite garden. I've visited this garden already a few times in my life and every time it takes my breath away. There is always something new to discover. Especially for those who love waterfalls and water plays.

A lovely spot to enjoy a walk through beautiful gardens with the ever present sound of fountains and waterfalls. Chateau is currently undergoing restoration work and covered in scaffolding. Euro 8.50 entrance fee. Café above the entrance with terrace overlooking the gardens.
