Great museum to visit with children, very educational and impressive
A great museum to visit with family! I didn't expect it to be that interesting and big. We enjoyed every minute of the 3 hours that we spent there. The dugouts and trenches was for us an amazing experience. Especially the kids loved it! Though it was a summer working day and the additional Covid-19 restrictions/measures, the museum had quite some visitors. No worries, the staff (polite and friendly) and museum were taking all necessary measures.
Such a wonderfully interactive experience. As a family we really enjoyed our time learning about such an important time. Everyone was so helpful and I can't wait to recommend the museum to my friends.
What a beautyfull museum to visit. if you are near and you have some time, take a visit. Its worth your time. Also for kids is there a whole experience. Normally you can touch a quite a lot of props but no with the corona times it is not possible ofc. I will revisit for sure!

BEST WWI museum you can possibly go to folks. This place is amazing, has trenches and tunnels you can walk through and gives you an in-depth experience of what WWI was actually like. If you love learning about history or even if you want to lift a rifle up to see how heavy it was for the soldiers to fight with (also you can try on real body armor). I could spend an entire day here without knowing it it's so interesting. This place is a must.
One of the best museums I have ever been to. Amazing story that everyone should know. The recreation of the trenches is amazing. Sobering and life changing. Anyone who is in the area for this history needs to go to this museum.
