Great place, nice terrace and playground for the kids. And the beer selection is very good.

So well worth a visit with so much local knowledge you will find so much to give insight into the work that has been carried out to honour those that gave the final sacrifice.

Lunch stop on our Quasimodo tour. Fresh open sandwich and salad. Entertaining and informative talk and video from the personable host, Johan, who featured on Time Team 33, epic personal museum of the Ypres Salient battlefields. An unmissable experience.

Great local pub, but the draw is the owner, Johan Vanderwalle. He is a an expert on the WWI battles that were fought in the surrounding area. This is the historic Flanders Field where so many soldiers Lost their lives. Johan works hard to promote awareness of the cost of battle and is building a memorial to the \Brothers in Arms\. Stop in, have a great Belgian beer, and ask John about the area's history. Stay for a good meal too.

The owner is super friendly and will tell you all about the war history. They speak English so you can ask many questions. The food is great and affordable. Lots of memorabilia to look at. Definitely worth a visit.

This is a great place to visit. Johan the owner is a very knowledgeable humble man. And what a great little museum he has too. I will definitely be returning.
