More of a Chateau but worth a visit. A family of four for 18...and there is a maze too if keen. The chateau was an important house during WW1 giving respite to the royal houses of Belgium and Britain. King George V would visit to check in on activity. The house is surprisingly of intimate size with lots of good information...a rare insight treat to a royal household of the time.

What a beautiful castle. Immaculate in every aspect and such a treasure of artifacts are on the second floor. A must see.
the property is wonderful to walk around. it is close to a highway though, so depending where you are in the gardens you hear the cars. the labyrinth was great fun (and quite difficult to get out of!). i found the visit of the castle interesting (lots of facts about the family that used to live there, the war era and how albert I was there) but not per say my cup of tea. be aware that they do not take card, so have cash with you!
Beautiful castle situated in a quiet park. Good for a quick stop along the many bike trails passing here.
Castle Loppem is a newer Castle built in the 1800 and privately owned by the Loppem family. There are lovely gardens, even a maze. The furnishings are lovely. You can arrange to stay there by contacting the caretakers.
Beautiful place to see, however they're closed in winter months, and there is no mention of this on their website
Ok for walking, fishing but no bicycles allowed wich is not good for me personaly but overal very nice place to visit, and there is also a maze for the kids to try out next to it and some caves with bats
one of my favorite castle in Belgium from the 80 I have visited so far, must be on your list
