The "Young Radiologist Section"​ or simply YRS is part of the Belgian Society of Radiology (BSR), founded by and for residents in training and recently certified radiologists. The YRS aims to connect the BSR and young radiologists in Belgium. The seven Belgian universities that offer radiology training are represented through our board and active members. Key goals: Education: standardized education and examination between universities Communication: with external organizations, but first and foremost providing useful information for our target audience Scientific: co-organization of the Annual Meeting of the BSR Our medical profession is on the verge of some important financial and structural changes that will alter the future of our practice. Young radiologists need to be involved in the processes defining the course of our profession. All residents and young radiologists interested in "making a difference"​ are welcome to join the YRS!
