Dr Derya Yuksel is I believe the most competent and experienced orthodontist in Belgium. She has very steady and gentle hands and in my 2 years of treatment, I never felt any pain. Ms. Veronique at front desk will help you with the appointments, she is very helpful and considerate. You might have to wait to get your first appointment with her. But after that she makes sure that you get the right treatment.

Our consultation at this practice was astonishingly negative. Dr. Yuksel rushed through the consult, had no patience for questions, hardly glanced at the x-rays we brought, and was generally grumpy and unprofessional. While it seems she does at times offer quality service (as evidenced by some other reviews), a professional practice must consistently do so at all times, and our experience is evidence that Happy Smiles does not.

I got notice of Happy Smiles and Dr. Yuksel through a colleague at work in Brussels. We were looking for an orthodontist for our son Guillermo, who was 8 years old at the time. From the first moment Dr. Yuksel's work was serious and precise. With clear instructions, about the treatment to follow, the steps to take, and also about the budget and payment. I especially appreciate the clarity and affection with which she gave the instructions to my son. This helped the result of the treatment to be perfect. We are back in Spain and it will be difficult for me to find an orthodontist like Dr. Yuksel for our other two children. Happy Smiles is totally recommendable.

Absolutely recommended! Dr. D. Yuksel is a person of great professionalism, kindness and availability. She has been following our son since 2017. We consider ourselves quite demanding people and all our expectations have been answered. Great attention to hygiene, the spaces are always very clean and the assistant Paermentier is always very kind. We have recommended Dr. Yuksel to several friends thinking that they would have appreciate her professionalism. The work on our son's smile is not finished yet but we were able to immediately appreciate the changes. We believe that a person's smile is important. The smile becomes part of the person himself, says much of us to others and is a real communication tool.

I 100% recommend. From start to finish it was a really great experience Modern and clean. Making an appointment was easy and friendly. My upper and lower teeth were deformed over the years. I never would have believed that my teeth would be so beautiful and I would smile again at my age. In my first appointment Dr. Yuksel analyzed very professionally and explained me the pros and cons of a wide choice of treatment methods, their time periods and cost. I chose for the one she highly recommended that best suited to my lifestyle and requirements. She also filled in all the paper work and pictures required to get most of the cost refunded from my additional health insurance. During approximately one year I had the fixed braces treatment. Followed by fix retainers for the lower jaw and invisible removable aligners for the upper jaw that I use at night. Of course I will need to keep them for the long run, this is very important so that the teeth stay so beautiful, otherwise they would deform again over the years if I wouldn’t wear them anymore. It's very positive that I am only treated by Dr.Yuksel and not by others, because I trust her. Thus I would highly recommend to anyone who wants beautiful, straight teeth. Thank you for making my journey enjoyable, easy and surprisingly pain-free!

Happy with the treatment. Worked well in my case. I had a flexible schedule and having appointments during the week wasn't much of an issue for me. I chose the basic braces and kept it for 2 years. Price for braces including 8 visits was about 2500.
