Usually easy to get appointments. Payment with Cash Only. Medical staff speak English and French. The Endocrinologist speaks English French Spanish. One secretary speaks French (maybe others but I never tried) and has been friendly and helpful. But the other secretary in particular does not seem to understand anything I say or ask in French, & I tend to get the impression she is being intentionally difficult. I usually hang up and phone back after she has left for the day. - GP is friendly and fine for basic stuff. Sometimes it's clear he doesn't want to deal with certain problems, which seems common with some Belgian practitioners in general in my experience. - The dermatologist also does some minor surgery and was good with mine. - The endocrinologist is friendly and really great. Prices are coventionée and "democratic" which is a relief. In other words nearly all refunded by the insurance. A GP visit costs 29 (as of Sept 2020) This explains why cash only policy, because card payment companies take 2.75% commission which means they could not be conventionée. I understand and am quite happy to pay cash.

conveniently located near Merode. easy to get appointments. medical staff speaks French, English, Spanish, Dutch. I had an excellent contact with the GP who is very kind, listens to your concerns and has consultations every day including Saturday morning. He is also specialized in tropical diseases, a specialty that is not very widespread. As for the fees, they are "conventionnés" which means they don't overcharge you.

The dentist is OK, but the GP doesn't listen, has his own (out dated) ideas about your health. I've wasted a lot of time (years) and money on ineffective, even negligent, treatments, prescriptions and interventions from this place.
