A very strange almost embarrassed cemetery for the German war dead of 1914-18. It shouldn't be so low key though as the sacrificed faced the same pressures and privations as did the allies. The only difference being the final outcome of the conflict. Some 50,000 dead buried here in me graves with simple markers on the ground. It lacks the majesty of the British cemeteries but is still a very powerful reminder to the cost of war.

Este, reservado a soldados alemanes que murieron en el frente de la guerra de 1914-18, impone respeto por su sobriedad, severidad y sencillez. Un espacio donde las tumbas se alinean protegidas por el follaje de los imponentes árboles que circundan el camposanto. ¡Descansen en Paz!
