No frills, down to earth people, very good ingredients - there is definitely a lack of this type of restaurants in Wemmel. They even peel the tomato skin in the salad, just saying.

Small but cosy and very tasty meat
Cosy little restaurant (30 couverts I think) with very good service and top place for high quality meat prepared and served the way it should and by people who clearly know and love meat (salmon filets are on the menu as well). The quality and experience is definitely more than what you pay for (main dishes from 24 to 38 eur if i remember correctly). Choice of desserts is limited to 4, but all seemed great! 3 different types of beers on draft and quite some other splendid beers on the menu (Orval, Westmalle, ... ) that go perfectly with the charcoal-grilled meat. They served one of my personal favorite sparkling wines: South African Graham Beck (Chardonnay & Pinot Noir). Personally I went for the 900gr Tomahowk (together with my brother) and it was cooked precisely the way I wanted it! They served the meat in 2 times so that our last bite off meat would be just as warm as the first. The pepper cream sauce was so delicious, I had 2 portions of it! And the hand made fries perfectly completed the dish. Pure Filet is definitely an up and coming restaurant in the Brussels neighbourhood!
