It was interesting to visit the the highest point of Belgium but that was about it. There is few information about the signal which was quite a bummer. And the view from the highest point was a little bit blocked by the communication mast. It's still nice to pay a visit but don't expect too much from Signal de Botrange.

A FreeElectrons.Family review: 12 steps to the highest point of Belgium!... and it is right behind this decent restaurant! From Reims, France to Bastogne, Belgium we stopped by here during our family camping road trip from Spain to Poland this year. We spent more than what we would like to spend for meals. Here kids meal of chicken nuggets and fries were 10 euros, a tomato soup of the day for 6 euros, coffee for 2.20 and Chouffe Blonde beer for 4.20. See photo of receipt that we included in this review. Nevertheless, it's convenient to have this restaurant here. There is also a small tourist information service on the other side of the building. If you are willing to spend for a meal we recommend going to a local brewery with restaurant about a kilometer down the road. Read more about it and about family camping and travel on our blog. The roof of Belgium is of course a special place. Nature is beautiful. A little crowded on weekends. There's a cafe where you can get a drink right there.

Good menu, great stop after a long walk in the nature, possible to pay by card. The service could be faster though. On a Sunday it can get busy, so I advise them to hire more waiters.
