The staff was really nice. The pasta dish was delicious. we ordered another dish from the \Chef's specialty\ main course - \Carpaccio van Cavaillon\. by the name of the dish we thought it will be some beef cuts from some special place call Cavaillon, because we first googled for \Cavaillon\. and it showed a place on google map. So we thought we will try this dish. What we got in the end was a dish full of Melon slices and ham cuts for f**king 22 euros!!!! When we asked that there is no beef in it, they said Cavaillon is famous for its Melons and Carpaccio van Cavaillon means melon cuts and not beef cuts. This was a huge disappointment. And I am still wondering why this was even a Chef's specialty?

We've went for the special dishes and weren't disappointed. The asparagus, on season, are always a good option, and the cod, although not the Portuguese kind that I'm used to, was tasty and well prepared. The service was good, although slow, but the staff was friendly and helpful, specially considering we barely understand a few words of Flemish. One word to the decoration. It was far from impressive, but the signs and plaques vice the place a touch of fun and quirkiness.
Very nice coffee in a very nice café on the old town Square.
A good restaurant in Veurne. Friendly people. I dropped my fork on the ground and within 1 minute I was offered a clean fork. The côte à l'os was exactly the way I asked. A bit more expensive but very much recommended! Best to make a reservation.
