Great little hidden lake in Brussels near the Hypodrome
Located near the Hippodrome just south of Le Bois de la Cambre in La Forêt des Soignes, Les Enfants Noyés is a popular place for an afternoon or evening stroll anytime of the year. Don't be put off by the name! No children drowned in this pond! The name comes from a misspelling of a translation, if I remember correctly. La Forêt des Soignes is a must. If you live in Brussels or are visiting and haven't taken the time to walk, run, or bike its trails, you should. It's enormous and is connected to 4 different parks in and outside of Brussels. You can walk from Le Bois de la Cambre all the way to La Hulpe. Definitely one of my favorite places.

Très beau site. Mérite une belle balade. En automne les couleurs sont très chouettes. Certains sentiers sont pour piétons, d'autres sont mixtes. Il y en a pour tous les goûts.
