Great tiki drinks. Very nice service. They put a lot of thought into the recipes, menu and the decor. We always love going to the Drifter. Also lovely non-alcoholic drinks in case you don't drink alcohol.

We finally found a place with proper bartenders here in Europe! Thank you! Perfectly intimate space with properly made cocktails and eclectic decor. Service was by a wonderful tiki shirt clad Icelandic man. A few drinks on the menu involve fire . I wish I lived closer to this watering hole because I would be a regular. Just go.
Ive been to many cocktail bars around the world, and this place is a little gem. Not your average 'try hard', but instead, more an adventure bar. Tiki themed and they really go balls deep with it. The decor, staff, music and general atmosphere is very immersing in the Tiki genre, you even get a soundtrack and performance if you order certain drinks. Now, the drinks - we had 6, all superb in my opinion. Too many bars simply put together a menu or try to be cool or creative without actually being enough of an alcoholic to know what tastes good. These all ticked the right boxes. Well done The Drifter - boys done good. Highest recommendation
Absolutely lovely tiki cocktails in super chilled surroundings. Very cosy and fun interior with the tropical aesthetic - we were only in for a short time but it's the kind of place I could easily see myself spending hours in...if I could still stand after! Fun playlist too with lots of good oldies. Highly recommended all round.

A super nice and cozy Tiki Bar in the heart of Ghent city. The cocktails are great, the music is great, the bartenders are great. Need I say more? GO THERE ALREADY!!
