Great place. Big sister of Almata. Another organic exo friendly store but this one is much bigger.

No 5 star because of the inconvenient opening hours otherwise a good bio shop.

Cool bio/eco store in Brussels. Bring your own bags and/or containers for nuts/cereals etc. There is a selection of bio cosmetics but not a large one. There is a large offering of nuts and other foods in containers on the walls like you can see on the pictures. The staff is nice.

Fantastic selection of organic food at somewhat reasonable prices. Meat is a touch pricey but still great. Vegetables, beer, and dry goods are all great. Cool to choose and get things by the gram like nuts and coffee. A great addition to the Saint Gilles neighborhood.

Good selection of organic foods, but prices are quite high. Freshness isn't always there.

this the larger sister store of Almata on rue d'albanie and carries a bigger selection on the same fantastic products!

Good selection of products, although you need to pay attention to prices. The self service nuts, as an example, it's kind of trap, you can easily end up with 10 euros or more for a little bag. Also, comparing pecan nuts or macadamia nuts - the most expensive ones - in the shop against Delhaize's prices.. you might get shocked: price per kilo is more than double in the bio shop! (e.g. 46 euros / kg vs 23 euros / kg for the same product). I can understand quality, origin, whatever you want to put on the table, but Delhaize's ones are also bio, moreover no origin nor bio label is actually shown in the shop for the nuts, so double price sounds like almost a scam.

somebody needs to give me an explanation sometimes why working in a bioshop means you don't have to smile, look a client into their eyes, say goodmorning or goodbye - all the basic stuff which i'd say are part of working in a shop...
