I think the only Sicilian pastry cafe in town. A real one. It's being led by a family from Italy so it's really good and the canoli are delicious.

Best place for real italian pastry. Ask for baba de rhum!

I am quite a regular costumer here, and I would have given ***** if it was solely for the quality of its pastry (and, to a lesser extent, of its meals). Unfortunately, though, all over these years the ladies serving there are particularly detached, focused on selling as much as possible, when not openly rude. I used to bring my kids there once in a while in order for them to enjoy some typical Sicilian pastry. I had to renounce after a few times as the ladies would repeatedly insist in proposing them additional pastries (to be paid, of course) although I had clearly explained, in my role of father, that I disagreed. Still now, when I fall into temptation and go there to buy few pastries I then regret it, as the service is too often beneath the minimum acceptable in terms of kindness, attention and respect of customers. It is really a pity, as the place would have been great with proper customer care and savoir faire, and fairer prices.

Unfortunately, a very very expensive place. Among the Italian community in Brussels, this place is called \il gioielliere\. I wouldn't go back. There is a limit to what a reasonable price for a commodity should be. And here, this is way overpriced, to the point of insult.
