PMD stands for Polymer Maritime Development and is a non-profit platform, which aims at the stakeholders of the composites- and maritime sector. PMD’s mission is to create a new value chain for these two sectors. By doing so, we want to optimize the new generation of maritime constructions in favour of the ship owners and operators. At the same time, we want to help the composites sector (re)orientate in a more maritime direction. Concretely, PMD collects the necessary knowhow and concepts and develops it further into specific projects. We work within an own build-out network where PMD performs a coordinating role.
