Brand new falafel place in Sint-Jorispoort, just next to some popular bars such as Korsakov, Kapitein Zeppos. The owners are friendly, though a bit uncomfortable because they just started. We took Papa’s falafel, which was a bread with falafel and aubergines. The result was a very small bread with just a few falafel pieces, it was tasty though. Luckily with Papa’s falafel dish you are able to get a bit of the salad bar, but this was not really something special to be honest. Talking about the price then, this was just a small portion of a very regular falafel sandwich and the price is 8,50 euros which is incredibly high. Especially if you look around in the city, every place is taking around 5 euros and is serving way bigger portions and have more improvised dishes. The good thing is that they are really trying, so I hope they will also improve their place because there are definitely some good possibilities here. Make it cheaper and improvise more, make it special! What I also did not like is the fact that they use wooden forks and bowls, making the salad hard to eat. If you don’t mind the prices, still try and come to eat at this place. They are still searching their way and it is normal that from the start it is not perfect!

Everyone in my group was very happy with the level of service and quality of the food. The pita is fresh made and the salad bar offers a wide arrange of toppings. The owner was very enthusiastic and made sure that we enjoyed our time there.
Best falafel in Antwerp without a doubt. Every falafel fan should try their food. The atmosphere is very nice and the neighbourhood is beautiful. A highly recommended falafel bar.
Fantastic food with great service. Tried the eggplant, falafel and hibiscus tea. My girlfriend almost cried when she took her first bite if you want an idea of food quality.
The Falafels here are just delish. Cute place to eat out in the center of Antwerp, with friendly owners and fresh ingredients. Highly recommend!
