Bookkeeping issues after a repair suppose to be covered by my assurance. Instead of calling me, sending an email or calling me back after I was asking more details, months passed and they put a lawyer to send me a paper for not paying some invoices. Skoda garage, the manager was very polite but sending invoice for something I was not informed, this is quite odd.

Skoda Octavia Combi After reading several motoring reviews, especially the UK's 'What Car' site, & looking at a Huyundai i30 estate & a Ford Focus Clipper we (a one-car retired couple) decided to take a look at the Skoda Octavia Combi in Overijse, since the car seemed to fit our requirements at a reasonable price & with a good reliability track record. We greatly appreciated dealing with Keanu, the young salesman there. He has an excellent knowledge of the car and all its somewhat complex range of options and packages. He was very helpful, patient and efficient in dealing with our questions and we always felt that he had our best interests in mind. I wasn't sure at first whether the very economical 1 litre petrol engine would be powerful enough for the car. Keanu told me that it should be OK. A test drive including some steep hills reassured me that it was indeed surprisingly responsive and would be perfectly adequate for our needs, as Keanu had suggested. In addition my wife was happy to find the car very easy to drive and reverse. We ordered the car with quite a few particular options to make sharing the car easier (electric adjustment of driving seat with memory function) and to cater for my cycling hobby (retractable tow bar & bike carrier). Thanks again, Keanu, for all your friendly and efficient advice. It was a real pleasure to do business with you. Ian & Monique

My husband and I have the feeling that the car seller of this garage didn’t want to sell us a car. - First question asked was: Do you need the car soon, because it might take a while to get it...what?? Knowing that you visit a showroom to buy a car that you appreciate no matter the practical details of the delivery (this is for later) and that it represent a considerable investment, this question is surprising and inappropriate. We wondered why the first question wasn’t : What are your needs and expectations? Which model are you thinking about? Etc. - Than, he rushed us to the office to make an offer without showing and explaining us the differences between editions and models (no one else was in the showroom). When he directly asked what our budget was, which I found wierd aswel knowing that we informed we did a simulation on the official website the day before, we apparently mentioned something below the possible. He didn’t come up with suggestions or arguments to convince us, quite wierd for a commercial. - The offer was explained expeditively and every question seemed to annoy him profoundly. Not a word about professional offers, fleet, lease, renting, etc. ( I am freelance). It is the second time that we have that uncomfortable and unpleasant experience in a Volkswagen garage. We are a young family and this is our first new car investment. We are not going to spend our money here!
