Partool is a supplier for the industry of MRO parts, such as bearings, belts, welding equipment, tools etc. The company was founded in 1947 by André Vandenbulcke in De Haan, and specialised in mechanical components. In 1980, the company had grown considerable in both staff and offering, and was transformed to an enterprise. In 1983, it outgrew the premises in De Haan and moved to Oostende where it still is today. At the same time, industrial plastics and construction paint was added to the offering. By 1987, it was necessary to double the warehouse capacity to be able to stock the growing number of products on offering. At the end of 1999, Vervaet Gent and Vervaet Brussel combined their forces with Vandenbulcke. That means that to date, there are three locations, each with their own specialists and a considerable stock. The close cooperation between the three branches leaded to Partool, a new brand with an e-shop. On July 1st 2013, www.partool.be opened its virtual doors.
