We visited in july 2019 we had an amazing time in the city and then we dropped in on Chalex, the food was fantastic, see the photos, the waitress was lovely, very friendly. The restaurant was very clean and tidy, the outside seating was sorted. Wish I was coming back this weekend. Highly recommended.

Nice place on the big market square of mechelen. Food is good service nice for a reasonable price. The terras is nice when the weather is good.
I am from Mechelen, and it is always my pleasure to discover new places. Chalex is on the Grote Markt. The staff is really friendly, the place refurbished and cosy, and food is fantastic. Fresh products, generous quantities, and bread fabulous. I really recommend this place, as one of the best sunday brunch in Mechelen. I truly recommend. And during Lockdown, Chalex Eetcafe still provide fantastic food via Deliveroo. My chile con carne yesterday was delicious. Support local restaurant. And with Deliveroo you can pick up also at the restaurant so you can great the very friendly staff.
