Everyone knows about the chocolate scene in Bruges. However, another local speciality that is well worth trying is speculoos, a spiced shortcrust cookie that tastes great. And probably one of the best places to try speculoos in Bruges is Juliette Handmade Biscuits on Wollestraat in the Historic Centre. Opening hours are 10am to 6pm. Juliette makes speculoos and other baked treats fresh and daily. They taste delicious. We really liked the various speculoos varieties tried and ended up buying several (5) packages to take home and enjoy later. These delicious cookies have been enjoyed as much as any chocolates we found and purchased during this trip. Juliette's is one of those places that we greatly look forward to revisiting during future trips to Bruges.

We asked for traditionally and typical sweet from Bruges as we where in the Tourist Info. So they pointed this store on the map, that's why we came. And boy was he right, all kinds of sweets are available here. Mostly small cakes, these small caramel things and so on and on. It is a bit pricy but the product are handmade and phenomenally tasty.

Best cookies ever. This place also is testimony to the fact that it IS possible to open a business in a touristic city and treat your customers with respect and courtesy. 5 well deserved stars, actually if I compare to other places I have given 5 stars this place deserves 6!

A bit different from all the chocolate shops which is a nice change. They sell amazing cookies! The hazelnut speculoos ones are my favorit and we have bought them more than ones. Friendly staff as well.
