Working library and tourist attraction in one. Thus review will be from perspective of tourist. Tour is explained at the information inside. Lockers for free are available inside. The tour is individual and you need to download it through the app. Except one bug, the app worked smoothly. Bluetooth will show you points of interest around. The tour takes around 1 hour to 90 minutes. Be careful to have enough time left for the tower (check closing times). The view is probably the best in the city..

We didn't know you could visit this place and you can even go up to the tower then you will have a magnificent view of Leuven. The bell might start ringing , it was quite scary since we were on top of the tower and right next to it I would definitely recommend it . Awesome experience . Not sure if visiting and going up on the tower is all year long though.

Amazing place!! You should listen to the audio and go up the tower. Don’t miss the beautiful scenery! Visit the library at noon and evening, you don’t want to miss it. Here are some pics :)

It's worth the price, i got a discount of 2 euros for the ticket (from 7e to 5e) after showing my student card to the staff. with the ticket visitors can get an audio tour in the nice library (with great collections) and enjoy the view of Leuven from bell tower. Easily reachable from the station.

Beautiful tower and library, the library was bombed during World War II to subtly remind the people of this the tower (who was still intact) is left at its original place and the library was build asymmetrical with the belfry tower. Beautiful building!

Great view from the tower. Very nice library. Unfortunately the east asian library was closed when we visited so four stars. Besides that, really worth the visit and the audioguide. The library was firstly built in 1636 with additions made to it in later years. Maintained perfectly until today
