Overall pretty decent as you can read on most reviews, but things that are not said and I would have liked to know before renting here are: walls are very thin so any phone call your roommate is having, you will hear (sometimes even steps if they have hard-sole sandals). The windows are not allowed to be open more than a 10cm tilt, therefore it can get hot in summer and hard to ventilate. Be careful if getting a room facing the station as the station and rooftop can cause a lot of noise and the rooms in the other side are the same price.

Very nice residence, cleaned and newly equipped. You have your own room with the bathroom and shared kitchen. The residence manager is so kind and friendly. When I was there, every issue was resolved before I even notice which required a great organization. I’m very happy and satisfied with this residence .
Very good place near the train station, bus station and the city Hall. There are markets nearby, the location is very convenient. A walking distance to the center. It's just a little expensive depending on your budget.
I had a very good time in Studax. There's a good organization and it's in a best place (near train and bus station). I recommend it!
A wonderful place with a great atmosphere, friendly and helpful people (including the staff) ! Peaceful area, close to the train station, many shops, not so far from the centre. Recommending it to all the students! :)
We are not consistent creatures and we adopt rational nuances viewpoints, through peering into others behavior in our social environment; to allows us to adopt a rational that recognizes similarities of our past Strictly speaking, I’m talking about time-inconsistency, it means that my view of things, including preferences, changes overtime. Phases of life “today is my yesterday objective and tomorrow lesson-learned”. Therefore, studax strictly speaking and within my viewpoint it’s pretty cool and as close to home as it can be. Hygiene within the public areas is dependent on everyone good manners and so is respect. Makes you feel safe and the roof-top is pretty outstanding.
Rooms are tiny and boring. The width of the room is almost the same as the desk inside. Probably not more than 2 meters. There are no soft materials in the room. Floor, ceiling, walls are all concrete and light gray. This makes the room have some weird echoing hall noise. Shared kitchens are incredibly dirty. If you stay less than 2 Months they don't even bother to put up your name on the on the postbox. But to compensate there is a really nice rooftop terrace.
It was the end of the day and the sun was just putting its light to rest over the horizon. Ripples of sparkle golden rays gently shone across the sky, creating this mesmerising dance of colours. The end of another busy day at Leuven and the rooftop at studax takes you to that mental relaxing moment, that you needed so much to help you recharge your batteries. Making my way to my room, stretching my thoughts and letting my concentration be spent on an illusion of how good it would be to go down stairs into your floor and have a chef cooking your dinner and lunch, a maid turning over your bed, in the morning room service and a governess to take care of you clothe. Suddenly your awaken by the loss of footing and you find yourself hanging on tightly to the railing to avoid failing down this massive flight of stairs made of cement; and to your dismay someone has thrown up and left it for the Studax cleaners to handle the matter regardless of who may use the stairs. I assume that such reckless irresponsible behaviour comes from unknown sources, because at home they probably wouldn’t behave that way. That wouldn’t happen. Anyway, morning comes and I drag myself into a tidy kitchen; left by colleges who known how to share and respect others. The empty air is filled with the smell of freshly brewed coffee, toasts, the sound of cereals falling into the bowl and a this group of students understand the dynamics of sharing a common space; should treat it has if it was your home. Slowly we all vanish through a nice clean corridor into the elevator for another intense day. Knowing full well that you are coming back to a nice warn and clean place like Studax.
