My favourite place in Leuven. Amazing food and great vegetarian/vegan options. I’m going back there as often as I can!
I remember going to this place with a friend. Since I am Muslim I asked them if the meat is halal? The staff nodded with a yes it is. Then once I was eating the food, the waiter approached who had told me previously that the meat is halal, asked me which alcohol I would prefer (I found the question quite odd), I told him I don't drink alcohol. He seemed amused and told me to try a little alcohol, his exact words "try a little ". At that point I knew that when they have no shame in persisting someone to drink alcohol knowing that he/she is Muslim, there is no guarantee that the meat they are serving is halal. So shame on you, just to go to the length of making an extra bit of money, you deceive your religious customers.
Very tasty food and super kind staff. I really recommend this little place on Parijsstraat. Hope to be able be back in person soon.
Delicious food and very nice owner! The best you can expect from Syrian food. Definitely to recommand!
Been to this restaurant twice, and everything was so amazing, from their warm service to very delicious dishes!!! Definitely the best place to get Syrian food in Leuven. I was there for rather casual outing but the atmosphere and the quality would also be great for more formal occasions. It was also nice that they had very good vegetarian/vegan options :))

Nice little restaurant. We had the mezze with different food to share. Really very tasty. Also the Syrian red wine is very nice. Kind personnel. Do not forget to take cash as you cannot pay by card.
