Good bike shop. Reasonable prices. They even have a good selection of classical city bikes, which is exceptional these days. Point of improvement is the sometimes seemingly negative attitude of the lady, but the male staff are all very helpful.

Overall a decent selection, and I have purchased bike parts and accessories here several times, but I won't be giving them my business ever again. They refuse to work on bikes that have been purchased online (and treat you with scorn for having the audacity to do so). My suggestion to Hugo Jacobs: if someone comes in with a bike purchased online, you repair it for them, service it for them, whatever. And you give them some sort of \loyalty\ credit to their customer account every time, say 10 euros off a future bike purchase. In a few years, when it comes time to buying a new bike, odds are they'll then buy from the shop, using the discount. This is how to compete against the online shops that sell the exact same bikes for 25% less than your prices. Blacklisting people who don't adhere to your orthodoxy is not effective. Lucky for me, other bike shops in Leuven understand this, and have no problem working on my bike. Adios Hugo Jacobs.

Ik bracht mijn fiets binnen omdat de banden na 10 minuten fietsen steeds plat waren. Enkele dagen later werd ik opgebeld om te melden dat de banden recent vernieuwd werden en dat ze enkel de binnenband zouden vervangen. Er werd bij vermeld dat er ter hoogte van de ketting slijtage was en er werd gevraagd of dit mocht vervangen worden. Ik gaf toestemming maar vergat te vragen hoeveel dit zou kosten. Dit had ik beter gedaan want ik kreeg een rekening van 197 euro. Ik heb mijn fiets 5 jaar geleden aangekocht voor 150 euro... Indien een reparatie van dergelijke prijs wordt uitgevoerd verwacht ik toch dat er spontaan iets van de kostprijs zou aangegeven worden.
