This is by far the best, most authentic Indian restaurant in the area. Excellent quality, great flavor, diverse menu, friendly staff. No reason to go elsewhere, unless it's Sunday when they're closed. The south-Indian menu is a big plus, and should also differentiate them from the other restaurants nearby; as should the fact that the proprietors are Indian, also different from several nearby restaurants. I'm sad to see these 1-star reviews based on the delivery service during peak Covid times. I think it's unfair and the poor reviews should be directed at the delivery services.
Food was delivered after 2 hours of ordering. Called the restaurant 3times and they said the order left the kitchen but after 1hour still no delivery but then I found it was a lie because the receipt was issued 15minutes before the delivery. On the top of that the order was wrong chicken dish was replaced with cheese. Food quality is border line eatable. Totally not worth the money or the waiting. I called to say my order is wrong and they said ok and hanged the phone on me.... disrespectful
The food is good. We ordered chicken tikka masala and chicken vindaloo. They are very delicious. However, it arrived 1.5h later than expected. This one star I rate is only because of the bad delivery service. During this waiting time, we made several phone calls and none was working. First, the phone number from Uber eats is wrong. I managed to find the right number from google map, but there is only automatic response. There is not way to track what happened. I do not suggest to order delivery from this restaurant. Certainly if you could go directly maybe it should be fine.

I ordered from Uber eats and the food was delivered 2 hours later than expected. When the food finally arrived, they left out some of the items I ordered. I called them several times during those 2 hours and got no response. Delivery man laughed at my face when I complained about the late delivery. Food was ok but not worth the price nor the wait

Went here with a social deal for four courses, which turned out to have listed items that are currently unavailable due to corona. The waiter was very friendly and we had a pleasant conversation about Indian cuisine. We then proceeded to order from the items that were available and within the social deal menu. The starters were delicious but with the second course we ran into a complication. The kitchen had mistaken our order with a takeaway of the same dish. The takeaway had asked for very spicy and unfortunately this landed on our plates. As newbies to spicy food it was well above our level, but very tasty nonetheless. The waiter noticed us struggling and immediately apologized and gave us some complementary coconut slices to help \tame the flames\, which was very appreciated. The third course, our main dish, was amazing. Definately the best Indian curry we've tasted so far. The kitchen also made sure to keep the spices on a more moderate level this time. For our final course we had a traditional Indian sweet. Since we were on a more exploratory visit we ordered two different kinds. One of them wasn't quite our taste but the other was a yummy finisher for our dinner. Conclusion: The food is of high quality and the service is top notch. Despite the small inconvenience with the mixup, the experience we had here was very enjoyable and highly recommended. Thank you Indian Spice Hut for a memorable evening!
