This is a nice place to walk around. Living in the buildings are another story though. Floor plans are understandably not modern or even a bit weird. Not suited for winter due to old window frames and construction materials.
A MUST visit place!!! I went there two times while I was staying in Leuven this time. It was just amazing!!! With the sun right on top of your head, as well as sunrise! Even in the cloudy weather this placed looked nice.
It's like walking into a Harry Potter set. Sweet and calm. Would love to live there.
Stunning, historical and accessible place where your feel like you've walked back in time to a medieval town. Beautiful architecture and leaded glass along with quiet cobblestone streets, a church and water features. I believe they have tours but I didn't take one. Highly recommended!
Spectacular place in Leuven. I have never seen a so peaceful place. It's just like a small town inside Leuven. It seems to stay in Hogwarts or something like that. The best place I have seen in Belgium!! There are many silent houses, no one comes in the streets and there is a small river that gives to this place something magic! I think that every places in the world should have a corner of peace like Groot!
Great place. Quite and peaceful. Good to rest.
