From all the coffee places in Leuven, Anna is my favorite! The coffee and baked treats are delicious. You can't deny the homelike atmosphere, when you are visiting Anna.

I would normally come here on some Sundays as it is one of the open places and enjoyed my experience so far. Unfortunately, last time we were there we had a problem with the taste of our coffee and staff treated us as if we never tasted coffee before and that was downright offensive. I can understand feeling confident about doing your job but I would expect a more understanding treatment to a customer. Too bad. Will not go there again.

My wife complained our unpleasant experience in this bar several weeks ago, and we just received an angry reply from the owner. Apparently the owner is trying to make up excuses with their service. For example, we ordered two warm drinks but received no cookies. The owner said this is because of corona... Sorry but I don't see the logics with it. It was even worse that he changed the umbrella direction for local customers and just ignored us. No respect at all... But the owner still has excuse with it... This is our first time to write negative feedback to a bar, since we were so angry. I also notice some negative comments to their service. So I hope the owner can think about it. Or he can just keep the style, if he want to see more negative feedback.

Normally you will get a free cookie if you order a warm drink. My husband and I ordered one tea and one coffee, but they didn't give the cookies. We thought maybe they don't offer free cookie any more with warm drinks. But when We looked around and found all the customers have cookie with their warm drinks. We actually don't really care free cookie but we don't want to be treated differently. We were also sitting under the sunshade, and the waiter moved it away for other customers without asking us. This is really unpleasant. Is this all because we are Asian? We really don't like it.

very dark inside. the sitting area next to the window has been eliminated. nice coffee but not nice coffeeplace. sweets are also irrationaly expensive.

Located at the centre of the highly regarded academical yet convivial university city of Leuven, this hidden gem is the ideal place to indulge to an extensive menu of hot beverages and freshly homemade desserts in a relaxing atmosphere. The service is rather slow, which however will be forgotten at the first bite of their famous artisanal cooked \bokkepoten\ cookies. (See picture) A perfect place to witness a rare, but enticing passion about coffee shop hospitality at it's finest.
