A delicious experience of the simple done with excellence. Famous for the light and fluffy waffles, and for good reason. Highly recommended, with cream! The soup of the day was a success as well. Simple tomato soup, more like gazpacho. Nice. The outdoor garden seating is nothing short of spectacular. Bees were annoying, but not much can be done about that. Same problem everywhere in the region. The region has quite the historical significance. Marie Siska led quite the life. Interior seating is equally spectacular, decorated in line with the history of the garden escape. Service was acceptable, but nothing special. Prices were high, but honestly, It is Zoute!

Known for their delicious waffles, one of, if not, the best place to eat waffles at knokke. Good place for the kids thanks to the play garden.
This place has a very nice playground for kids. You won't see your kids for hours.
Despite the very nice atmosphere for kids and the great location the experience has been a bit spoiled by some of the staff (Holliday workers?). Not really friendly (not to say rude). Our dedicated waiter was by the way very polite and experienced but probably overloaded in charge of too many tables. Food is pricy for an average to average quality but again compensated by the great playground. Toilets were very clean as well as playground.
Great place for kids, good quality food, friendly staff that immediately sees if you need something. Minigolf was fun as well and the children asored the playground.

Back in the days a fun place for kids & parents. Nowadays client retention is not important as they prefer to handle people with disgrace and rudeness. If I was able to give this place a zero I would. Waffles are overpriced, staff is garbage and same goes for the hygienic state of the restaurant & toilets. Playground is fun for the kids, but that is the solo positive aspect of this place.
