Friendly staff (the team talks only French but they are super supportive and you will find a way to communicate), nice location. The tend part of the camping is however too crowded: sadly, I ended up staying close to a party group that made noise every night until late. Toilet and shower are a bit old but make the work. For the price and service level (44 in total - 2 night, 2 People & 1 tend), the camping is fairly expensive

Beautiful place to visit and make camping with tent, plus you can rent kayaks over there. Some tips, prepare toilet paper :), on reception they doesn't speak English , only french so prepare also for that :) overall it was very nice experiences

Beautiful campground with few places. Awesome location right at the riverside. Reasonable prices. Ideal for kayak tours (owner has 55 kayaks and offers transfer to Bouillon to paddle back to the campground or start from the campground going downstream to Bohan - both beautiful trips). Team is very friendly and helpful. Firewood and barbecue device provided. There is also a bar with excellent coffee and a lot of great beers. We so much enjoyed our stay. Don’t forget to reserve.

Good camping but be aware of the kayaking service. We booked 4 hours kayaking trip to Bohan, was told by the owner they will pick us up once we arrived the spot. We had made phone call twice after we arrived meeting point, finally after almost 2 hours they showed up!! (from 3:30-5:20). seems like they just want to wait for all different groups which left from different times to drive together...even its only 15mins one way! While we were waiting in the pick up spot, the other kayak company already picked up their customer 3 times!!! Reply to the replu of the owner on 4th July. We just want to share the true experience and wish they can improve. But by their reply is a totally lie. We are waiting at the official spot with lots of other people under the rain. They didn't want to pick only four of us up in one drive, and on the 3 times phone call they were keep asking how many people are waiting (maybe to save drive times?). We totally disagree about the reply (lie). You better choose another kayak rental have better pick up service and better attitude!

One should not think twice before booking a stay and kayak tours with L'Ami Pierre. The services were truly fantastic and affordable. We were picked up and dropped back at Graide station by friendly staff for no extra charge. The camping site is outstandingly beautiful and well kept. There were unlimited logs to make fires, an appreciated service. The staff organised the kayak trip brilliantly, we were driven to the starting point and brought back to the site. We only had to wait 10 minutes for the driver to arrive after having called him. Anyone visiting the Ardennes should stay at L'Ami Pierre, we will certainly go back!
